Training on Stakeholder analysis and Needs Assessment within the Tempus “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” - (ESFIDIP) project
On May 6-8, Khazar University hosted a training on Stakeholder analysis and Needs Assessment within the Tempus “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” - (ESFIDIP) project. The project aims to improve access for students with disabilities into HEIs of Azerbaijan in line with the best EU practices and policies, supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The project involves European partner institutions - Graz University (Austria), Macedonia University (Greece), Lodz University (Poland), and European Human Consultancy (the Netherlands); and local partner institutions: Khazar University (coordinator), Azerbaijan State Economic University, Sumgayit State University, Lankaran State University, Ganja State University, Nakhchivan State University, and Union of Disabled People Organizations. The event started with the welcome speech of Dr. Farda Asadov, Vice President for International Affairs, who talked about international cooperation at Khazar and addressed the importance of the project. The training was followed by Khazar University’s project management team of Ulkar Isayeva and Leyla Niyazova. Leyla Niyazova gave a detailed presentation about the legal study and statistics. The training was led by Human European Consultancy and guided by other European partners. For two days of the training, participants worked collaboratively on developing stakeholder analyses and needs assessment in the context of Azerbaijan. On the last day of the event, the participants planned the project activities for the next 6 months.
