On January 28, 2016, Davud Rahimli, the president of Union of Disabled People Organizations, appeared as a guest on the Moring Bell broadcast on APA TV. During the program, Mr. Rahimli spoke about the problems that people with disabilities face today and measures taken by the Republic of Azerbaijan to solve this issue, including conventions it has signed and legislation it has passed related to inclusive education. In his speech he gave information about work that has been done in Azerbaijan in order to involve people with disabilities into inclusive education. He also spoke about the Tempus project on “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan,” and gave information about the implemented and planned activities within the project.
